STSM OPEN Call: Visit period extended to end Sep 2021

The STSM short visit call is now OPEN on a continual basis. Applications iwill be reviewed on a monthly basis based on those received by the last day of every month.

The COST grant period has recently been extended and hence the exchange visit can now take place to ensure that the visit has completed by 30 September 2021.

Proposals from those who have attended a MW-Gaia Workshop or School are especially welcome.

Short-term scientific missions (STSM) are exchange visits between researchers involved in a COST Action, allowing scientists to visit an institution or laboratory in another COST Member state. These scientific missions may last up to six months in another COST Member/Cooperating Member or Near-Neighbour Country joining the Action. Their aim is to foster collaboration in excellent research infrastructures and share new techniques that may not be available in a participant’s home institution or laboratory.

For information on COST and Covid-19 - see https://www.cost.eu/who-we-are/about-cost/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-19-actions/.

Because of the ongoing issues concerning travel restrictions, that can change at short notice, cancellation insurance is recommended (this is an eligible expense).
