Outline of the workshop

In July (18th to 20th) 2023 we are having a workshop in Lund, Sweden entitled “Science and technology roadmap for μas studies of the Milky Way”. The meeting is designed to influence the future development of astrometry for delivering the next advances in our understanding of the Milky Way. There will be a strong focus on assessing what new science Near Infra-Red astrometry can bring through a mission like GaiaNIR or through new missions focusing on better accuracy.
